Arrone Macuacua appointed new Local Audit Partner at Mazars Mozambique

Arrone Macuacua is Mazars' new Local Audit Partner in Mozambique, reinforcing its management team. This appointment consolidates Mazars' commitment in Mozambique to the Audit & Assurance area and its main objective is to continue developing it in response to new market challenges.

The credentials of Mazars Mozambique's Audit area are now widely recognised by the market, including a diverse range of clients in the different sectors of industry and services, and in the areas of banking and credit institutions, insurance companies, investment funds (securities and real estate), pension funds, venture capital and others.

A track record of national and international experience and specialisation

Arrone Macuacua holds a master's degree in auditing from the School of Higher Studies and Business (ESAEN) and a degree in Accounting and Finance from the Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM).

He began his career in 2011 and has led audits of a wide range of organisations operating in different sectors.

During his professional career, Arrone Macuacua has led processes on Ethics and Independence, ensuring their fulfilment in accordance with the methodology and global policies that regulate the auditing profession.

He specialises in implementing and monitoring the International Standard for Quality Management 1 (ISQM1).

He has also been involved in carrying out work and decision making, conducting and analysing financial information, applying International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US GAAP, coaching and training junior team members in the application of best practices, auditing standards (ISAs) and corporate methodologies to ensure high quality client service and added value.
